  3. I had a brief gospel encounter with a waitress (I will call her "A") at a Mexican restaurant today at noon. I asked her a few things about herself and then asked her if she considered herself to be a "Christ-follower" and if so, why. I then shared the gospel with her and pressed upon her how essential it was to trust in Jesus Christ alone and express the reality of that simple faith in a continual repentance for her sin and a confidence found by resting in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave. She shared that she had come to trust in Jesus when she was 11 or 12 and understood and agreed with what I was saying.

  4. I had time on my plane ride back from Houston to share the Gospel. This person I spoke to shared with me about his struggles at work and how frustrating it was. I encouraged him to look beyond his circumstances and to discover that true joy comes from knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and that trusting in His perfect obedience and perfect sacrifice will give him ultimate joy; the kind of joy that transcends his circumstances because this joy is rooted in eternal truth that cannot and will not fail him.
